SCHOOL ADOPTION PROGRAM

NMGCT’s School Support Program (SSP) works to provide government-school children with a comprehensive, holistic, quality education which allows each child to bloom to their fullest potential.

Government schools have a higher enrollment of children compared to private schools. However, despite efforts to improve them, inadequate infrastructure continues to hinder their ability to attract students and deliver quality education to the underprivileged children.

In response to the challenges faced by government schools, NMGCT launched the School Support Program to address these issues.

As part of its educational outreach, NMGCT has adopted the following government schools in Bangalore:

Government Model Higher Primary School, Kalkere Village
Government Higher Primary School, Doddagubbi Village
Nammura Government Higher Primary School, Kithaganur Village
Government Lower Primary School, Jayanthinagar, Horamavu

NMGCT launched the School Support Program to assist these schools. The initiative aims to enhance infrastructure and improve the quality of education. Since its inception, we have undertaken several developmental projects in these schools.

Activities at Kalkere Government School

Art Painting

60 Volunteers from IndusInd Bank collaborated with Connectfor and painted the school in 2022.

Egg Distribution

Distributed 1500 Eggs to children.

New Electrical Meter

Due to short circuit the whole government school building had no power for several days. Students were finding things very difficult. The school’s head mistress requested us and we thus went on to install a new meter, wiring and a new sump motor.
